Smart Start of Pender County

Smart Start is a statewide program ensuring that North Carolina’s children are prepared to enter the school system when they become old enough for kindergarten. The program helps children, up to age five, through child care, health care and family support services. We were excited to work with such a great community building organization on the redevelopment of their website.

Smart Start of Pender County needed a web presence that would promote the services of the early childhood organizations that they support with within the county. The website design uses the brand’s primary color palette and has a creative, fun, hand-drawn feel. The new website is fully responsive guaranteeing that users will have a great experience, even on tablets and mobile devices.

Families in Pender County, North Carolina are able to browse for childcare, educational resources, community resources and more. The site also integrates with PayPal to let users donate to this not-for-profit organization. Smart Start of Pender County builds brighter futures for children, because children are our greatest resource.
